Bringing Trendy South Beach Chic to Atlanta.....

What a perfect pairing, a client who desired a South Beach Modern design to blend with their recently purchased traditional Atlanta home, and I, a designer from Miami!
Removal of heavy moldings and wing walls quickly opened the once compartmentalized space into a lofty open floor plan.  We painted soft grey walls throughout the first floor to contrast with the chocolate stained walnut floors, while focusing an accent wall covering in the dining area. Preserving traditional elements in each room helped to create a well balanced design of the two styles.

A high gloss finish Italian dining table and buffet stand off the apricot colored silk area rug, while mother of pearl strands shimmer from the center of chandelier.

"Before"

"After"
A linear grained limestone tile runs across the fireplace wall creating a clean solid plane. Pristine walnut stained custom cabinets and framed glass shelves flank both sides symmetrically.

Arguably the most special room in the house to complete was for baby Valentina, whose due date was one week after move in. Ballerina Pink and Soft Rose stripes climb the walls with crisp white furniture that stands off. Hints of turquoise can be seen in the embroidery of pillows, crib bedding, and satin ribbons used to hang the custom lettering. Butterflies created from colored Rhine stones and mirror sweep the window wall, and from the look on her face, I think she likes it.

Enjoy my dear new friends......and in two months when you are ironically moving to Miami, Ill be there to help again :)
